Blending Two Hobbies
Getting Creative on a New Project!

So… I love creating junk journals and scrapbooks and such. And I wanted to create something that had to do with genealogy. I wound up creating genealogy-themed planner stickers for my journals!
This growing collection of printable stickers was created specifically for genealogists. Not generic planner stickers repurposed for genealogy, but tools designed around the way family historians actually research.
The current collection includes:
Ancestor Spotlight Circles to designate a space to work on one ancestor.
Archive Visit Circles to notate when you have visited an archive or repository!
Archive Box Ephemera for some fun!
Genealogy File Tabs to organize binders and research notebooks by record type.
Vintage File Folder Ephemera for categorizing projects such as Census Records, Military Records, Immigration Records, Brick Walls, Family Stories, Probate, Correspondence, and more.
Research Goals dashboards to plan annual projects and keep long-term objectives in sight.
Focus Bars for setting yearly goals, daily tasks, page headers, and genealogy resolutions.
Priority Flags to quickly identify what’s urgent, what can wait, and what deserves your immediate attention.
Progress Trackers that let you celebrate every discovery as you work toward completing a research project or finally breaking through a brick wall.
To-Do Lists designed specifically for genealogy tasks, from ordering records and contacting archives to reviewing DNA matches and planning courthouse visits.
And this is only the beginning.
Every design shares the same vintage-inspired style, featuring antique books, archival documents, botanical illustrations, pocket watches, old photographs, maps, fountain pens, and heirloom ephemera that feel right at home beside your research notes.
My goal is to create a complete planning and organization system for genealogists, one that makes it easier (and a lot more enjoyable) to keep track of your research while celebrating each discovery along the way.
Whether you’re documenting your great-grandparents, organizing a One-Name Study, preparing for a research trip, or simply trying to keep your next record search from disappearing onto another sticky note, these stickers were designed with you in mind.
Because every ancestor has a story.
And every great story deserves to be beautifully organized.
The Heritage Hunters Studio Genealogy Planner Collection is now available on Etsy, with many more coordinating designs coming soon. I can’t wait to share what’s next!

I’m a junk journaler too Barbara. I love your designs.
I really like your idea! Your images are wonderful! Would you please share how you use some of your stickers? I’d love to see your pages. Thanks!
